Pre-application open days for 2014 entry

If you're thinking of studying at Kingston then visit us to find out more about the University and what it's really like being a university student. Open days for 2014 entry are taking place on:

  • Saturday 15 June 2013
  • Saturday 28 September 2013
  • Saturday 12 October 2013

Booking is now open for our June open day only and will be available for the September and October open days in August.

We are only able to allow two additional guests per visitor.

Please note: a separate open day specifically for Art, Design and Architecture subjects is being held on Tuesday 18 June 2013. These subjects will not be represented at the Saturday 15 June event.

Top tip: Remember to print your booking confirmation email and bring it along with you to ensure you get the most out of your day.

What happens at the open days?

Our open days will enable you to find out more about the subject(s) you are interested in; gain an understanding of what it would be like to study your chosen subject; meet course representatives; and get advice on a range of student services, from accommodation to our Students' Union.

The following will also be available on the day:

  • Campus tours
    These tours will leave on an ad-hoc basis throughout the day. They are given by our current students who will give you an idea of what it is really like to study at Kingston University and familiarise you with the facilities and services available at the campus.

  • Subject talks
    You will be able to attend a talk on your subject area of interest which will give you a real insight into what it is like to study your chosen subject at Kingston University.

  • Subject and support service stands
    Course representatives as well as support staff from Accommodation, Funding and Disability and Dyslexia Support will be available to answer any questions you may have and can direct you to the relevant information on the web and provide you with print materials to take away.

  • Ask me booths
    Ask me booths will be located around the campus staffed by Student Ambassadors who will be there to answer any of your questions and share their experiences of student life.

  • Top tips – transition to university and student life
    An interactive session with Student Ambassadors focusing on the transition to higher education. Including what it is like to study at university, living in halls, commuting from home or living in private accommodation. It will also address fees and funding, budgeting while studying, part-time jobs, as well as information on lectures, seminars and assessment techniques.

  • We will also be offering talks on accomodation and a session providing UCAS application support.

Where are the open days based?

The University is spread over several campuses across Kingston. Different courses are taught at each campus, so which location you visit will depend on the subject area you are interested in.
