Frequently asked questions

Booking

Do I have to book to attend an Open Day?

Booking is highly recommended and will ensure a quick registration process on arrival.

When you book, you will be emailed a link to your schedule for the day and other useful information, including directions and travel information, a few days before your visit.

The link in the email will contain a barcode which we will scan from your phone when you arrive.

Will I be sent confirmation when I have booked?

Yes, you will be sent an immediate confirmation email when you book online which will include a link to your unique barcode and the subject area sessions you have booked on to.

Why haven't I received an email confirming my booking?

Your confirmation email may have been prohibited by your computer's security setting, or diverted by your spam/junk mail filter; please check your junk mail folder. Alternatively, there may be an error in the email address. If you think you may have entered an incorrect email address or would like your confirmation resent, please contact us and we will do our best to help you.

What should I do if I want to change or cancel my booking?

If you would like to change or amend any details of your booking, please refer to your confirmation email and click on the link to change or cancel your booking.

Once you make your amends, your schedule will be updated. Please remember to check junk/spam folders for this email in case it does not deliver to your inbox.

Do I have to book to attend any of the talks/workshops?

No, we will not be taking bookings for attendance at specific talks and workshops. You are free to attend any talks you wish on the day.

Do I have to book tickets for the campus and accommodation tours?

No, campus tours take place throughout the day and accommodation tours take place every half an hour allowing them to fit in at a time to suit you. Both tours are given by our experienced student ambassadors.

Please check the timetables for details of when our tours take place.

Alternatively, feel free to take a self-guided tour of the campuses. Information and maps will be made available to help you find your way around and student ambassadors will be on hand to provide you with answers to your questions.

What time does the Open Day start and finish?

Registration opens from 10.00am and the day finishes at 4.00pm (except Roehampton Vale campus which finishes at 1.30pm). Please refer to the timetables for full details.

No. You can attend any part of the Open Day you wish, although we do advise you to attend all talks and take part in the various activities happening throughout the day.

Can I bring family and/or friends?

Yes, you are welcome to bring up to three guests (parents, family and/or friends) with you to the Open Day.

How do I know which campus to visit?

When you book you will see which campus your subject talk is at, but you can visit more than one campus if appropriate to your interests.

If you'd like to visit one of our other campuses for additional talks or tours you can catch one of our free shuttle buses to travel between campuses.

We advise you to consider what else you would like to see which may be located on a different campus; you can then plan your day.

Will I need to register on arrival?

If you have not booked, don't worry; you can register on the day in the main entrance when you arrive.

Where can I get a programme?

On the day, printed programmes will be available from the registration desk.

How do I travel in between campuses?

We have a free intersite shuttle bus service running between each campus throughout the day. These run approximately every 20 minutes, though times may vary due to traffic on the day.

What should I do if I go to the wrong campus?
