Annual Fund Postgraduate Scholarships

The Development Office offers a number of postgraduate scholarships for UK and EU students. They are available for all courses (except teacher training/PCGE courses) and will pay 50% of the fees (up to £3,000 for the 2010/11 academic year) for a one-year, full-time or two-years, part-time masters programme.

 

 

Scholarship opportunity for Chinese student

We are offering one scholarship for a Chinese student wishing to study the Curating Contemporary Design MA. The scholarship covers fees and a maintenance grant of £10,000 for 2010/11 entry. It is supported by the Sino-British Fellowship Trust.

 

We are looking for candidates with experience of curating contemporary art, design and media who would benefit from the programme in London. On completion, you must return to China to further develop your curatorial practice.

 

If you wish to apply for the scholarship, you need to submit:

  • a Kingston University masters application form;
  • a referee form; and
  • 1,000 word statement (written in English) explaining how the scholarship would make a difference to your professional development.

Send completed applications and requests for further information to the postgraduate admissions administrator at designpostgrad@kingston.ac.uk. Scholarship applications must be made in English and submitted by 2 April 2010 for September 2010 entry.

International scholarships 2010/11

The International Office is offers awards totalling £250,000 every year, with each scholarship worth £3,300. These are open to prospective full-time postgraduates in any subject area on a one-year taught masters degree.

 

You can apply for an international scholarship if you:

  • are an international student (classified as 'overseas' for fee purposes);
  • have an offer of a place on a course at Kingston for 2010/11 entry; and
  • are not currently registered on a postgraduate course at Kingston University.

You might also be eligible for an international loyalty bursary if you are an overseas Kingston University alumni or have a family connection with the University.
