Choose Kingston's MA in Legal Studies
The MA in Legal Studies provides students with the opportunity to develop research and investigative skills and a critical and research-oriented approach to the study of a chosen area of law.
What will you study?
This course provides a practical avenue for you to research a particular area of law that interests you, and using various methodologies and analytical skills to produce an extended piece of writing. You will first concentrate on the development of your skills in advanced legal research, and the use of theory to support it.
You will then move on to construct and produce your own research piece within your choice of legal interest, demonstrating all the skills you have learnt.
Research is an essential part of the day-to-day life of the Faculty and is embedded in its intellectual activities and development.
