Entry requirements
Here you'll find the entry requirements for this course. Please read them carefully as they are very important for your application.
The LLM programmes are open to those who possess one of the following:
- a good honours degree in law (usually a 2:2 degree or above), OR a good joint honours degree (2:2 or above) where the major component is in law, eg, Accounting and Law or Combined Studies
- a Graduate Diploma in Law (CPE), Legal Practice Course or Bar Vocational Course
- a qualification as a solicitor or barrister.
We welcome applications from International students. Holders of non-UK degrees or legal professional qualifications will be subject to the University’s normal entry procedures with regard to the assessment of the equivalence of qualifications.
International applicants
International students are also expected to meet requirements for English language – using the IELTS test or similar. For full details click here. Some students may require the support of attendance at the Kingston University pre-sessional English course.
