Choose Kingston's Market Research MA (by Learning Contract)
The Market Research MA course is designed for professional researchers who have extensive experience but who may not hold the new MRS Diploma (launched in February 2006). The course is particularly suitable if you hold a pre-2006 MRS Diploma and wish to upgrade to masters level.
This is a work-based course supported by academic leadership, enabling you to build a portfolio of studies around your work and interests related to current research theory and practice. The portfolio will form part of the final assessment for the masters degree. You will be set individual learning goals within the framework of a flexible ‘learning contract’ agreed between you and the University.
What will you study?
As well as providing you with expert knowledge on research theory and application, the course also considers issues of client and account management in a business-to-business context, together with the broader aspects of consultancy practice.
Instead of following a set syllabus, this course is customised to meet your specific and individual learning needs and interests. It allows your studies to be focused and applied to the needs of your employer and even your employer’s clients (ie work-based learning). This means that it is possible for you to have an individualised masters programme, tailored to your specific situation. Therefore, programmes are infinitely variable. Each one is designed and agreed following extensive, in-depth, discussions with you and your employer.
This course is taught by staff in Kingston Business School.
