Entry requirements

Applicants should:
- have a second class degree or above or equivalent; and/or
- demonstrate enthusiasm for political communication, advocacy and campaigning.
International students need an IELTS-score of 6.5 or equivalent.
We consider applications on an individual basis, on merit. We look at academic credentials alongside prior experience and evidence of commitment to the course of study.
Prior learning – AP(E)L
Applicants with prior qualifications and learning may be exempt from appropriate parts of a course in accordance with the University's policy for the assessment of prior learning and prior experiential learning. Contact the faculty office for further information.
When to apply
Please note that the closing date for applicants from the EU who are seeking grants from the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) is 1 March. This is to meet the submission deadline set by the AHRC.
