International Supply Chain and Logistics Management MA
Events and lectures
There are always interesting activities taking place at Kingston and exciting opportunities to take advantage of. Here are some examples of what you could be involved with if you study this course.
In addition to the Faculty’s skilled team of academics, the course includes lectures by distinguished visiting professors and input from professional organisations.
For example, in March 2008 students attended a presentation organised by the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) at the prestigious surroundings of the Shell head office in London. The event provided students with the opportunity to meet industry professionals and business leaders.
The presentation focused on issues relating to assessing and measuring the ‘carbon footprint’ and was followed by an informative question and answer session. The evening ended with a networking session with other CIPS members and a chance to catch up on the latest trends in supply chain management.

Students on the MA in Supply Chain and Logistics Management programme automatically qualify as members of the Institute when they have had three years managerial experience in areas relating to supply chain or logistics (read more in the Recognition and accreditation section).
