Higher Education Policy and Practice (HEPP) Network
The Higher Education Policy and Practice (HEPP) Network at Kingston University supports faculties, departments and individual staff who are actively engaged in institutional and educational research that seeks to enhance policy, practice and management in higher education.
What we do
1. HEPP research seminars: We organise a series of higher education research seminars at Kingston University.
2. Meeting arenas: We bring HE researchers together to discuss their research and research interests, and to form partnerships for HE research at Kingston University.
3. Funding opportunities: We look out for external funding opportunities in the field of higher education and institutional research, in the UK and internationally.
4. Response to institutional and policy research needs: We also work to identify institutional research needs and national policy issues that can be crafted into research projects at Kingston University and may attract external funders.
We notify HEPP network members of external HE research funding opportunities by email. When appropriate we also make targeted approaches towards individual members based on their research interests and expertise. HEPP collaborations may be initiated in response to open research opportunities or to identified policy needs. We may propose ideas for collaborative projects and/or suggest prospective collaboration partners for available funding opportunities.
We identify researchers for particular projects via the Kingston University research repository and through personal contacts. Please see below for details on how you can inform and update us on your interests and expertise.
