About the HEPP Network
Since 2004, Kingston University has been actively developing an inclusive reflective research group with a primary focus on higher education. The HEPP Network members are academics and practitioner-researchers with an established research record or an active interest in undertaking collaborative research in the domain of higher education policy and practice research.
Kingston has already solidified a strong foundation in a variety of forms of institutional research, as well as a range of academic research on higher education policy, management and practice undertaken from different locations in the university. Central departments such as ADC and Planning, as well as several faculties, have a history of research contracts and publications.
Our colleagues have already been building a reputation for 'institutional research' within Kingston that has potential value for management information, institutional development and academic purposes. Among other professional affiliations and member involvement, the HEPP Network is linked into the UK and Ireland Institutional Research Network (HEIR) and to the international Society for Research on Higher Education (SRHE).
