Higher education (HE) research seminar series
The network's higher education research seminar series has hosts speakers from UK and international institutions and organisations, as well as from within the Kingston community.
Institutional research seminar
The first seminar of the Higher Education Institutional Research Network (HEIR) was held at Kingston University on 26 February 2009. The theme of the day, which was introduced by Professor Robin Middlehurst and chaired by Michael Hill, was engaging with the student experience through institutional research. The seminar was funded by the Academic Development Centre and organised by Steve May, Steve Woodfield and Marty Cronje.
The seminar included case studies from Kingston University and Roehampton University and a workshop on student feedback from Birmingham City University. It was attended by over 50 delegates from UK and overseas institutions who clearly valued the opportunity to participate in discussions related to institutional research.
