Dr Deborah Bowman
Deborah Bowman is Senior Lecturer in Medical Ethics and Law and Associate Dean (Widening Participation) at SGUL. Her research interests, although often diverse in topic, have a common educational theme.
She has focused recently on social accountability in healthcare education, professionalism in medical student development and training and access to healthcare education.
Deborah is an IMEX scholar participating in an International Medical Education Exchange Programme and representing SGUL. She regularly presents at national and international conferences and does an increasing amount of media work, particularly for the BBC.
