Architecture (Part 2 ARB/RIBA) Graduate Diploma: Research areas
Current research in this subject
Many of the staff in the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture are research active. This ensures they are in touch with the latest thinking and bring best practice to your studies. For example:
- the Sustainable Design Research Group is leading projects that connect design and designers with sustainability issues. Recent research projects have focused on designing and manufacturing with recycled materials and building a 'sustainable materials' library for designers; and
- the Landscape Interface Studio is a consultant to the North SEAfaring project, which addresses spatial planning, regeneration and the maritime identity of seaports (read more in the Faculty initiatives section).
