Architecture (Part 2 ARB/RIBA) Graduate Diploma: What our students say
Student profiles
Don't just take our word for it – here's what some of our current and recent students say about what it's like to study at Kingston.
Name: Lesley Anne Price
Course: Graduate Diploma in Architecture (Part 2 ARB/RIBA)
"I came to Kingston for my Part 2 (Diploma) in Architecture, rather jaded after my experiences as an undergraduate at another university, to find a refreshing variety of units and tutors on offer.
"I chose to do the Masters course under Michael Shoul. It was exactly the curriculum I had been hoping for when I set out to become an architect and the approach to the craft has stood me in good stead ever since. I came back to do my Part 3 professional qualification, which I found to be thorough, appropriately difficult and entertaining at the same time.
"After some years as a conservation officer in a local authority, I am now working for myself in private practice in central London, specialising in the repair/reuse of historic buildings. I am hoping to travel more widely, working on historic structures, when my family and last child leaves home in (hopefully) two or three years' time!
"I am still in contact with Kingston University and regard my tutors there as friends as well as colleagues."
