About our modern teaching environment

There is a wide range of facilities at our Kingston Hill campus, where this course is based.

Kingston Hill campus

Kingston Hill is a leafy, hillside campus situated about three miles away from Kingston town centre. It is a quiet, secure place to study with easy access to London, meaning it provides the best of all worlds for our students.

Kingston Business School

Kingston Hill campusThe £26million Kingston Business School building, opened in 2012, stands at the heart of Kingston Hill campus. It provides teaching and social space, together with the Business School's academics, tutors, support staff and student facilities. It benefits from a bright, airy atrium with a cafe, sofas and laptop bars for informal learning.

The facilities available at Kingston Business School not only make studying a pleasant experience, but also give you the hands-on experience that counts in the workplace.

Finance facilities

Bloomberg trading room

Kingston Business School is one of only a handful of UK universities that can offer you the opportunity to learn about trading in an industry-standard Bloomberg trading room. Bloomberg Professional software is a powerful and flexible platform that provides access to real-time data, news and analytics to help companies make smarter, faster and more informed financial decisions.

A working knowledge of this software gives you a head start in the finance industry, especially if you are looking for a quantitative finance role. You can extend this even further with Bloomberg certification, proving your ability to potential employers.

"In certain City jobs, the ability to use Bloomberg terminals is as important as being able to use Microsoft Office." – Dr George Alexandrou, principal lecturer, Department of Accounting and Finance

A wealth of financial data

Students can use Thomson Datastream Advance, which contains more than two million financial instruments, securities and indicators for 175 countries in 60 markets. It provides access to more than 100 million-time series with up to 50 years of history and more than 8,000 different fields.
