Many of our staff in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences are research active. This ensures they are in touch with the latest thinking and bring best practice to your studies.
Research in psychology at Kingston is organised into research groups. Each group provides a framework for research collaboration and the exchange of research ideas:
There is a wide range of state-of-the-art specialist equipment, software and psychometric tools to support psychological research at Kingston. We have extensive links with local schools and external organisations for conducting applied research. We offer a series of seminars in which eminent researchers from across the UK present findings from the latest, cutting-edge research in psychology.
The IGDTR combines expertise from psychology and business at Kingston University. It aims to conduct and disseminate research, informed by innovative methodological and theoretical frameworks, in view of advancing our understanding, and support, of activities related to decision-making, thinking, problem-solving, and the communication and management of risk.
