Many of our staff in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences are research active. This ensures they are in touch with the latest thinking and bring best practice to your studies.
Research in Psychology at Kingston is organised into two main research groups. Each group provides a framework for research collaboration and the exchange of research ideas:
- Health, Clinical and Social Psychology
- Development, Learning and Cognition
The PRU is equipped with a wide-range of state-of-the-art specialist equipment, software and psychometric tools. It has extensive links with local schools and external organizations for conducting applied research. The PRU runs a series of seminars in which eminent researchers from across the UK present findings from the latest, cutting-edge research in psychology. New purpose-built laboratories will be available for postgraduate students in psychology.
