Children's Nursing PgDip: Fees and bursaries

2017/18 fees for this course

Funding for 2017 entry

The Department of Health will continue to provide bursaries for tuition fees and maintenance for new students starting a pre-registration postgraduate course in September 2017.  Places are limited and subject to the allocation the University receives from Health Education England.

At this stage we understand that this funding will not be available to new students in September 2018, although we are awaiting clarification from the Department of Health on the future approach to funding postgraduate education.

For further information, please see the Department of Health's consultation document called 'Reforming healthcare education funding: creating a sustainable future workforce' (PDF) document (pages 10-11); and The Funding Clinic website operated by the Council of Deans of Health.  Information on NHS bursaries can be found on the NHS Business Services Authority website.

International students are not eligible for an NHS bursary but can also apply to study the Nursing PgDip. The fees for international students are £13,800 per year.
