Course: Corporate and Financial Law LLM

"Ethiopia's corporate law is poorly developed, hence I wanted to specialise in this area to boost my country's development in the investment sector. I chose Kingston Law School's Corporate and Financial Law LLM as it helped me develop knowledge in both areas; it was like killing two birds with one stone.

Kingston Law School teaching staff are impeccable and ready to assist you in any matter. The course was challenging yet exciting and I made so many friends both in and out of my class, who I still keep in touch with.

After graduation, I returned home to Ethiopia and started work at a prominent international law firm, Teshome Gabre-Mariam Bokan Law office, Member, ALN (formerly, Africa Legal Network). I work as a junior lawyer and legal researcher, my main responsibilities include advising foreign investors in Ethiopia with their company related issues, advising on local and expat employment issues and review of legal documents in accordance with Ethiopian law, draft legal documents.

I would definitely recommend Kingston, starting from its facility, its lecturers, the delivery of courses, its location and beautiful campus at Kingston hill and the amazing library. Who wouldn't want to go to Kingston?"
