  • The MA in Creative Writing and Publishing offers those who want to work with words a chance to develop their creative writing portfolio at the same time as getting to grips with the industry in which they wish to publish their work.
  • You will benefit from excellent links with the publishing industry (see Publishing Advisory Board) and opportunities to work with leading creative writers in residence such as Hanif Kureishi, Maggie Gee, Paul Bailey and Rachel Cusk (see Who teaches this course).
  • All teaching staff have practical experience of working in either publishing or creative writing industries (and many have worked in both).
  • We also run a high-profile series of master classes across the disciplines.
  • You will have opportunities to work on the literary magazine Ripple and the postgraduate newsletter Pages.
