"I recently completed the Design with Learning & Teaching in HE MA course at Kingston University. Within a few weeks of graduating I secured a full-time teaching fellow position on the BA(Hons) Graphic Arts course at Winchester School of Art.
"In my new role at Winchester I coordinate the first year of the course and I've certainly found the skills and knowledge I acquired during my MA at Kingston extremely useful. The course encouraged me to deepen my knowledge about the process of learning and what constitutes effective teaching. I also got an opportunity to engage with contemporary issues relating to the HE sector as a whole and develop my practical teaching skills.
"The MA final major project is a great opportunity to carry out an investigation into an area of design teaching that interests you. I found this a really stimulating process and good preparation for a research proposal I'm now putting together at Winchester."
