Doctor of Education EdD: Attendance and timetables

When does teaching take place?

The EdD is normally takes five years to complete (through part-time study) but you may be permitted to extend or reduce this time.

Teaching is designed to suit the needs of busy educational professionals and includes:

  • intensive weekend sessions;
  • small-group tutorial sessions;
  • one-to-one supervision; and
  • e-learning support.

You will also have the opportunity to work with groups of colleagues with similar interests/backgrounds to yourself.
