Here you'll find the entry requirements for this course. Please read them carefully as they are very important for your application.
Participants are admitted through formal University application and contact with the director of studies.
Each applicant is expected to provide a showreel or portfolio and statement, developing their reasons for applying to the programme. They are subsequently invited to visit the campus for an informal meeting, or can provide and answer any supplementary questions relative to their application. Please note that there is no formal interview for this course.
The entry decision is made through portfolio (showreel) and personal statement.
Participants should normally hold a BA(Hons) degree (or its equivalent) in a related or appropriate subject. Each application is considered on its own merits and therefore previous experience and qualifications may be taken into account.
All non-UK applicants must meet our English language requirement, which is Academic IELTS of 6.5 overall, with no element below 5.5. Make sure you read our full guidance about English language requirements, which includes details of other qualifications we consider.
Applicants who do not meet the English language requirements could be eligible to join our pre-sessional English language course.
Applicants from a recognised majority English speaking countries (MESCs) do not need to meet these requirements.
