Finance Masters (MSc): Attendance and timetables

When does teaching take place?

Stage 1

September to December: Induction and personal development programme followed by four core modules:

  • Market-based Accounting (15 credits)
  • Financial Modelling and Research Methods (30 credits)
  • Corporate Finance and Financial Statement Analysis (30 credits)
  • Portfolio Theory and Investment Banking (30 credits)
  • Financial Accounting and Financial Management (30 credits)

January to May: Continuing study of four 30 credit pathway modules and one option choice.

Core pathway modules:

  • Financial Modelling and Research Methods (30 credits)
  • Corporate Finance and Financial Statement Analysis (30 credits)
  • Portfolio Theory and Investment Banking (30 credits)
  • Financial Accounting and Financial Management (30 credits)

Optional modules:

  • International Money and Finance (15 credits)
  • Fixed Income Analysis (15 credits)

Stage 2

June to September: Research Project (30 credits)
