Financial Economics MA: Course features

If you choose to study this course, here are some of the things you can expect from the course and how it will benefit you.

• This course allows you to develop your knowledge of financial economics, starting from a strong basis in economics and applied econometrics.
• You can tailor it to your own interests, through both your choice of financial economics modules and your choice of topics for the writing reports module, the literature review module and the dissertation.
• You can switch to a masters in research after completing the core modules if you wish, replacing the optional modules with further research skills, a literature review and conference presentation.
• We are also working on developing major, half and minor degrees in financial economics, allowing you to combine parts of this course with other postgraduate degree programmes at Kingston.
