One of the ways you can link theory directly to practice is through your MA dissertation. This will require a substantial piece of independent work investigating a real HR-related issue and resulting in recommendations which have immediately applicable managerial implications.

Our successful Strategy into Practice seminar series, which has been running for many years, is designed to give you the opportunity to gain experience of strategy within major enterprises. You will hear first-hand accounts, from top managers, on the management of complex international organisations, promoting innovation and creativity, instituting cultural change and managing growth.

You will have the opportunity to ask questions and to network after each session with academic staff and local business leaders. These seminars are open to external attendees, alumni and students.
