Work placement
As part of this course, you undertake a placement in a human rights organisation. You choose an area connected to your overall career ambitions in either a governmental or non-governmental organisation.
You will have the opportunity to:
- experience, reflect upon and analyse the reality of working within a human rights organisation; and
- apply your knowledge, experience and analytical skills to reviewing the effectiveness of an aspect of the organisation's work.
We will provide you with support in:
- locating appropriate placement providers;
- approaching them; and
- securing the placement and negotiating your role.
Your course tutor will remain in touch with you throughout the placement.
