International Business Management MSc: Entry requirements

What you need to apply for this course

We wish to recruit from all backgrounds, cultures and nationalities. We welcome applications from those who have:

  • a good honours degree or equivalent; and 
  • a willingness to learn, develop and change.

You should normally have graduated in the arts, humanities, technology or science areas in the last three years. You may have limited work experience but perhaps possess specific knowledge or skills that you can bring to the course.

What else?

This is an intensive course and you will be expected to have a high degree of motivation. You'll need to have the ability to work effectively on your own and with others. Focus, maturity and commitment are qualities that we will be looking for.

Interview arrangements

Suitable candidates may be invited to attend for interview. Telephone interviews can be arranged in the case of those for whom travel to the UK may present difficulties.

International students

All non-UK applicants must meet our English language requirements. For this course it is Academic IELTS of 6.5 overall, with special conditions in all elements. Please make sure you read our full guidance about English language requirements, which includes details of other qualifications we'll consider.

Applicants who do not meet the English language requirements may be eligible to join our pre-sessional English language course.

Applicants from one of the recognised Majority English Speaking Countries (MESCs) do not need to meet these requirements.
