International Commercial Law LLM: Facilities

More about our modern teaching environment

Kingston Law School is based at the Kingston Hill campus. Kingston University has made major investments in buildings and equipment at the Law School campus over recent years.

Learning Resources Centre (LRC)

The high-tech LRC houses a wide range of resources and services, including texts, periodicals, journals and dissertations, audio-visual materials and over 500 study places. Remote access to LRC databases means you can access facilities online from anywhere in the world.

We further improved the LRC in 2008 with a £5 million extension. The new Nightingale Centre includes a learning cafe, more PCs and extra study areas.

Computer and online facilities

The LRC and seven laboratories house 250 computer workstations.

Using IT to support your studies is crucial. Kingston has an innovative internet-based interactive learning management system called StudySpace. This allows you to access course materials and contact fellow students and staff while away from the campus.

Study and teaching facilities

As a London university with a quiet secure place to study, a leafy green campus and easy access to the city centre, Kingston provides the best of all worlds for Law School students.

Lecture rooms and theatres are modern and well equipped. The graduate centre provides study space dedicated to postgraduate and research students.

Other campus facilities include:

  • free parking;
  • student shop;
  • cash-point machine;
  • health and counselling service; and
  • sports and recreation societies.
