Name: Isha Nunkoo
Course: IT and Strategic Innovation with Management Studies MSc

"I completed my IT and Strategic Innovation with Management Studies MSc in 2008 and am now working as an IT consultant for Fujitsu UK, the third biggest IT consulting and services firm in the world.

"After completing my BSc(Hons) in Information Systems at the University of Mauritius, I worked for a year in industry on Oracle Technologies. I decided to do a masters degree in the UK, but was quite specific about finding one which deals with strategic decision making.

"I am convinced I made the right choice by coming to Kingston. The lecturers are highly qualified and involved in relevant research projects. They bring a lot of enthusiasm and current knowledge to their lectures, and their learning materials are of very high quality. I was awarded a teaching assistant scholarship, which was a great relief financially.

"As an international student, an important part of my time at Kingston University was meeting people from around the world and sharing experiences. I made so many friends that I never felt too far from my country, Mauritius. It's been an unforgettable experience.

"It would have been extremely hard for me to get work experience in the UK without my masters degree. I strongly recommend Kingston University, which has paved my way into a challenging career in such a highly respected IT company."
