Landscape Architecture MLA: Links with business and industry

How we work with industry partners

Students on the course have the opportunity to work with industry partners on collaborations at both a national and international scale. Some notable examples are:

International multidisciplinary practices

  • Arup (London Olympics, High Speed 2, Cities Alive)
  • AECOM (London and Rio Olympics)

Landscape practices

  • Gustafson Porter London & Seattle
  • Grant Associates (Singapore Gardens by the Bay project)
  • UK agencies such as Historic Royal Parks, National Trust, Canal and River Trust

Collaboration with Arup

Find out more about our collaboration with Arup's Landscape Architecture team, called 'Cities Alive: Rethinking Green Infrastructure':

Guest speakers

We invite guest speakers from across the profession (including the Landscape Institute) and guest critics and tutors to engage with students during the programme including supporting workshops and reviews. The programmes are practice-led and students develop skills and outputs that are directly transferable into the working roles of the profession.
