Landscape and Urbanism MA: Faculty initiatives
What's happening in the Faculty?
Landscape Interface Studio
The Landscape Interface Studio is a developing project-based learning environment. Postgraduate students work alongside experienced staff to build knowledge and disseminate outcomes. Current projects include the EU funded North SEAfaring project (2004–07). Read more in the Research areas section.
C-SCAIPE
The Faculty recently benefits from a UK Government award of £3 million to set up C-SCAIPE (the Centre for Sustainable Communities Achieved Through Integrated Professional Education). This is the only such Centre focused on the built environment.
C-SCAIPE will enable graduates from Kingston studying on professional courses to develop a deeper understanding of sustainability – vital for shaping the communities of the future.
