Law with English LLM: Attendance and timetables

When does teaching take place?

Each taught module is worth 30 credits, running in two-hour classes across either semester 1 or semester 2 (each approximately 11 weeks of teaching).

A sample timetable is shown below (2008/09). However, please note that this is subject to change and will differ each academic year (English modules have not yet been scheduled for semester 2):

Semester 1

  • Monday, 2.00pm–4.00pm: Individual Employment Law
  • Monday, 6.00pm–8.00pm: Company Law
  • Tuesday, 10.00am–12.00noon: Family Mediation
  • Tuesday, 2.00pm–4.00pm: International Trade Law
  • Tuesday, 6.00pm–8.00pm: Arbitration
  • Wednesday, 6.00pm-8.00pm: Alternative Dispute Resolution
  • Thursday, 11.00am–1.00pm: Academic English
  • Thursday, 2.00pm–5.00pm: Academic English

Semester 2

  • Monday, 2.00pm–4.00pm: Insolvency
  • Monday, 6.00pm–8.00pm: Legal Aspects of Business Finance and Civil Procedure
  • Tuesday, 10.00am–12.00noon: Labour Law and the Global Economy
  • Tuesday, 2.00pm–4.00pm: International Sale of Goods and E-commerce
  • Tuesday, 6.00pm–8.00pm: Termination of Employment
  • Wednesday, 6.00pm–8.00pm: Evidence and Arbitral Awards
  • Thursday, 6.00pm–8.00pm: Legal Research Theory and Methodology
