Law PgDip: After you graduate

Where this course will take you

The majority of Kingston's Law PgDip graduates go on to the Legal Practice Course (LPC) to be solicitors or the Bar Vocational Course (BVC) to be barristers.  For these students, the promise of a place at the College of Law for Kingston graduates (who satisfy all the requirements of the professional bodies) is a big bonus.

Those who wish to continue on to a masters degree (and possibly a PhD) can 'top up' their qualification  by studying the Legal Studies MA.

An alternative route for some of our alumni is to do Company Secretary's exams. Others go into consultancy, and a number return to business. In recent years our graduates have included a film producer and a property developer and, despite very diverse fields, both have found their background knowledge of law extremely beneficial.
