Leadership and Management in Health PgCert/PgDip/MSc top-up/MSc: What our students say

Student profiles

Don't just take our word for it – here's what students say about what it's like to study at Kingston University.

Name: Pamela McDonald Kuhne
Course: Leadership and Management in Health MSc

The Leadership and Management in Health MSc is attached to Kingston Business School, which has a solid reputation. The programme outline offered relevant modules, which offered an excellent balance of theory and modern application. There is an energy that crackles on the Kingston Hill campus, which makes it a great place to visit. You cannot help but feel great to be learning in this environment!

The lecturers are passionate about their subjects. The classroom time is intense so it is important to offer different methods of presenting the module material. All of the lecturers did so and differently so that each course offered new insight. I always came away energised by the ideas. Lecturers were very responsive to email queries.

Perhaps one of the greatest additional benefits to this programme is the wealth of talent and expertise that sits on the student side of the classroom. My classmates shared insight and perspectives, which richly enhanced the lectures. The discussions were lively and sometimes heated – but never derogatory. What an amazing opportunity to get a cross section of skills and diverse backgrounds together but all sharing the desire to learn more.

My expectations for the programme were high and yet, these were not only matched, they were exceeded.
