  • various accounting professional bodies (partial).

We also offer courses in partnership with both private and public sector specialists such as Capita Learning and Development, Communicators in Business, and the National School of Government.

Linking the MBA with the workplace

The MBA project

The MBA project provides a valuable opportunity to bridge the gap between theory and business practice through a major piece of research that has important and immediately applicable managerial implications.

Networking opportunities

Many of our postgraduate students have significant experience in the workplace and are combining study with their career. This means you can benefit from the networking opportunities provided by meeting other students with managerial positions in organisations in London and beyond, such as Heinz, HSBC, BT, PricewaterhouseCoopers and British Airways. Find out more in the Networking section.

Alumni network

Kingston's Alumni Association grants free lifelong membership to all graduates. You will have the chance to meet regularly to continue your professional development or simply to network and socialise.

Lecture and seminar series

We have a whole host of guest speaker seminars and lectures, including Strategy into Practice seminars and the Entrepreneurship Experience throughout the year which are also open to external attendees. You can learn the tricks of entrepreneurship, the latest in business research and business strategy from renowned people from business and industry.

Strategy into Practice

Our successful Strategy into Practice seminar series, which has been running for many years, is designed to give you the opportunity to gain experience of strategy within major enterprises. You will hear first-hand accounts from top managers on the management of complex international organisations, promoting innovation and creativity, instituting cultural change and managing growth.

You will have the opportunity to ask questions and to network after each session with academic staff and local business leaders. These seminars are open to external attendees, alumni and students.

Entrepreneurship Experience

You can gain valuable insight and know-how about setting up and running a business through our Entrepreneurship Experience talks organised by the Kingston University Entrepreneurship Centre (KUEC).

Each talk focuses on a particular aspect of being an entrepreneur. Two skilled and practised entrepreneurs will lead you through their experiences, motivations, what keeps them going when the going gets tough and where and how they have found help with and solutions to business problems.

At each event you will have the opportunity to ask questions and to exchange experiences with academic staff and other entrepreneurs and attendees.
