Occupational Psychology MSc: Course features
What this course offers you
- This course gives you a broad range of knowledge and skills on which to base your personal and professional development. It draws on the specialist knowledge of academic staff from the Department of Leadership, HRM and Organisation in the Business School, and the Department of Psychology in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
- The course develops both your theoretical and practical understanding to enable you to become a 'reflective practitioner' and demonstrate the skills demanded by employers in the area.
- It has accreditation from the British Psychological Society.
- The part-time option is taught through blended learning. This is very flexible so is particularly suited to students working full-time, allowing you to juggle work and study.
- Appropriately designed blended learning strategies make the best of the different modes of learning, linking them together to give you more chance of understanding the modules, gaining knowledge and also more flexibility in when (and how) to acquire the knowledge. There is more potential for students to explore, reflect and access a range of concepts, ideas and images. Full-time students also receive a blended approach, but with the addition of more face-to-face study.
- Tutors are all active in research and/or practice of occupational psychology. In addition, guest speakers from a range of organisations will run lectures and workshops. These will include major test publishers and business psychology consultancies.
- Following its last inspection by the Higher Education Funding Council, Kingston Business School was awarded an 'excellent' rating for its teaching quality, one of only a few from 120 UK business schools to receive such recognition.
- You are provided with a supportive study environment and expert academic team to help you achieve your academic goals.
- The University's London location provides both a peaceful study setting and easy access to the city centre.
