Don't just take our word for it – here's what students say about what it's like to study at Kingston University.
Name: Julia Martin
Course: Production of Popular Music MMus
"Kingston University was flexible enough to offer a part-time masters programme I could fit around full-time work so I could develop my education at the same time as my career. I began the course to learn more about my subject, and distract myself from a frustrating job. However, I achieved more than I thought possible, wholly due to the support, inspiration and quality of the lecturers. They reignited my enthusiasm, inspiring me to develop my career, where I previously would not have had the confidence.
I wholeheartedly recommend the postgraduate Music experience at Kingston University – I didn't just gain a qualification, but also the confidence to change my life and that of my new family."
Name: Jodie Mark
Course: Popular Music MA (now MMus Production of Popular Music)
"One of the most vital parts of any course is its tutors. The tutors on the Popular Music MA course* were extremely knowledgeable and provided outstanding guidance and assistance during my time at Kingston. The classroom environment was focused, but had an informal atmosphere. Even though timetabled contact time with tutors seems relatively small, prepare yourself for many hours in the library and in front of a computer screen.
The course content, albeit a masters course, still allowed for some ‘hands-on' assessment, particularly in optional modules. All in all, I have no reservation in recommending the Popular Music MA course* at Kingston University."
