For those not awarded a funded place, the self-funding options for 2011/12 entry are: 

Home and European Union 2011/12

  • MA: £4,995
  • PgDip: £3,750

Overseas (not EU) 2011/12

  • MA: £11,000
  • PgDip: £7,500

Standalone module fees available on request.

Funding

There are a number of funding options available to postgraduates studying social work:

  • career development loan;
  • educational charities; and
  • grants.

Bursaries are available on higher specialist and advanced level programmes for social workers from the Surrey and Sussex bursary fund for social workers living and/or working in Surrey (County Council Area only) and East and West Sussex and Brighton. Your employer may also offer to sponsor you through your course, providing funding, day-release or guaranteed study leave.
