- This new course introduces you to key issues that are emerging in the different fields of psychology and currently generating extensive research activity.
- A special feature is the opportunity to choose two guided research activities in areas that particularly interest you. Optional modules and the dissertation mean you can further tailor the course to your own interests.
- The course is equally weighted in terms of research-related activities and taught content. You will benefit from hands-on training in the use of different kinds of specialist test equipment, software and psychometric tools.
- Alongside your academic studies, you also gain skills in:
- problem solving and organisation;
- data collation, review and synopsis;
- communication (oral, written and electronic);
- time management;
- computing; and
- co-operation and teamwork.
- Eminent researchers from Kingston and other universities will present findings from the latest, cutting-edge research in psychology. You also benefit from extensive small-group, seminar-based teaching.
- New, purpose-built laboratories will be available specifically for postgraduate students in psychology.
