Applicants must have obtained:
- Normally an upper second class (2:1) honours degree (or overseas equivalent) in any discipline. In addition, applicants must be able to demonstrate mathematical competence equivalent to grade C or above at GCSE level.
- Applicants must be able to demonstrate evidence of an interest and motivation in studying psychology. Experience or Skills, in or related to psychology, will be considered an advantage. Applicants may be invited to an interview with the psychology MSc course director. International students based overseas can arrange for an interview by email or telephone.
All non-UK applicants must meet our English language requirements. For this course it is Academic IELTS of 6.5 overall with 7.0 in Writing. Please make sure you read our full guidance about English language requirements, which includes details of other qualifications we'll consider.
Applicants who do not meet the English language requirements may be eligible to join our pre-sessional English language course.
Applicants from one of the recognised majority English speaking countries (MESCs) do not need to meet these requirements.
