Real Estate MSc: After you graduate

Graduate destinations

The largest proportion of our full time students go on to the graduate entry schemes of major firms of chartered surveyors in the UK, going through the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence to become qualified professionals. Many of our successful alumni and current part time students work in the real estate sector for firms such as Knight Frank, CBRE, PNB Paribas, Jones Lang LaSalle, DTZ, Cushman and Wakefield, the Crown Estate, Network Rail, British Land, Land Securities and other international and national firms, public bodies and private companies. Once you've graduated you'll have the opportunity to work in the following sectors;

  • Investment;
  • Agency;
  • Valuation;
  • Asset management;
  • Property finance.

The Institute of Real Estate are currently working with Charlotte University to introduce a an integrated development project whereby the MSc Real Estate UK students can work with US students studying a similar programme. This will extend their network, provide an understanding of international property markets and ability to work in international groups.
