Social Work PgDip/MSW: Recognition and accreditation
How we work with professional bodies
This course is designed to give social science graduates a professional qualification in social work. On successful completion of the full programme, you gain a Master of Social Work (MSW) award. This is accredited by the General Social Care Council (GSCC) and provides eligibility for entry onto the GSCC register of social workers.
You also work towards meeting the requirements of the six Key Roles of Social Workers, which are set out in the National Occupational Standards for Social Work, and complete the European Computer Driving Licence. This is needed to pass a social work qualification.
