What this course offers you
- This programme allows you to develop at Specialist level in social work practice with adults. You gain a GSCC-approved Specialist level award.
- You can choose whether to study for a BA(Hons) top-up award, a Graduate Certificate or a PgCert. Find out more about the different options in the Which award should I choose? section.
- Because everyone on Specialist programmes takes the Consolidation Module at the same level, you can finalise which level to study at after you have started the course. Find out more in the Consolidation Module section.
- If you have already undertaken some study at this level, we may be able to accredit courses you have already taken. Read more in the Entry requirements section.
- You will be able to develop the quality of service provided by consolidating, extending and deepening professional competence to achieve 'competence in depth'.
- You will learn from representatives of people who access social work services and carers. You will also have the opportunity to learn with and from other professionals.
