Sustainability, Environment and Change MSc: Entry requirements
What you need to apply for this course
The minimum entry requirements for this course are:
- A good honours degree awarded by a British or approved overseas university. Normally the degree level should be at second class honours level or higher in a relevant subject, such as Geography, Geology, Environmental Sciences, GIS or Earth Science or equivalent.
- Those without formal undergraduate qualifications, or alternative degrees, should be able to demonstrate extensive work experience or career development in the field of sustainability or the environment.
International students
All non-UK applicants must meet our English language requirements. For this course it is Academic IELTS of 6.5 overall with 6.5 in Writing and 5.5 in Reading, Listening and Speaking.

Applicants who do not meet the English language requirements may be eligible to join our pre-sessional English language course.
Applicants from one of the recognised Majority English Speaking Countries (MESCs) do not need to meet these requirements.
