Sustainable Construction MSc: Entry requirements
What you need to apply for this course
- Applicants must normally have a good honours degree or academic equivalent in a relevant area such as Civil Engineering, Concrete Technology, Structural Engineering, Material Sciences, Building Technology or Construction Management.
- Exceptionally, applicants who have substantial working experience in a related discipline (without a first degree) may be considered (if you can satisfy the admissions tutor of your motivation, numeracy and evidence of your ability to work at this level).
- Overseas students must satisfy the admissions tutor that they have reached an equivalent academic standard.
International students
All non-UK applicants must meet our English language requirements. For this course it is Academic IELTS of 6.5 overall with 6.5 in Writing and 5.5 in Reading, Listening and Speaking.

Applicants who do not meet the English language requirements may be eligible to join our pre-sessional English language course.
Applicants from one of the recognised Majority English Speaking Countries (MESCs) do not need to meet these requirements.
