Sustainable Design MA: Links with business and industry

How we work with industry partners

This course provides numerous opportunities to get involved with organisations outside the University. You will benefit from:

  • live projects with outside organisations;
  • site visits;
  • visiting speakers; and
  • the option of undertaking a major collaborative project with an external partner or your own employer.

We have worked with many organisations involved in furthering societal sustainability, including:

  • Design Council;
  • Futerra;
  • Helen Storey Foundation;
  • Innovation Unit
  • National Trust
  • Redesigndesign;
  • Rose Theatre Kingston
  • Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames
  • Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce;
  • Staywell (Age Concern Kingston upon Thames)
  • Sustrans
  • UsCreates

You also benefit from being at the heart of things thanks to the University's London location – there is a wide range of networking opportunities in London and beyond, which will help you develop your connections. An important advantage of this programme is getting to know people with a shared purpose – whether they are fellow students, experts delivering lectures or the leaders in organisations you collaborate with on a project.
