User Experience Design MA: Entry requirements
What you need to apply for this course
Here you'll find the entry requirements for this course. Please read them carefully as they are very important for your application.
Applicants for the User Experience Design MA are normally required to have a good honours degree in the humanities, art and design, multimedia, media production or the academic equivalent.
All applicants must be able to demonstrate, either through qualifications or portfolio of works a solid understanding of digital media appropriate to the subject area.
Exceptional applicants may have no first degree but more than five years working in information technology, the creative industries or the humanities. In this case, there must be strong evidence that the applicant has the motivation to complete the course and the ability to work at this level.
Experience in digital media, user interface development and user interaction design is particularly valuable. Experience in an application domain (health care, business information, retail) is also relevant.
