Digital Media Kingston courses have been developed in consultation with an industry advisory board, which so far includes members of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, DreamWorks, the BFi, Alloy, The Other Media, Sunrise Software, Abelton Live, Tonic, Active Ingredient.
We are also an active member of TIGA, the British Interactive Media Association (BIMA) and support the User Experience Professionals' Association (UK).
Final projects, and sometimes individual courseworks, may be hosted by external organisations, and may involve paid work (subject to availability and terms and conditions). In recent years, Ux students have conducted course-related projects with: GE Smallworld, Cambridge; Keebo, Kensington; Storepoint, Kingston Upon Thames; IBM, Winchester; BoxUK, Cardiff and central London; Wilson Fletcher, Serco, Goldman Sachs, Lumimobile, Caplin, British Museum, and the University of London.
The British Computer Society (BCS) accredits this course which means you may be able to gain exemptions from some BCS professional examinations.
