Applying for this course
The Graduate Teacher Training Registry (GTTR) handles applications for the Primary Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) course. You must apply online at www.gttr.ac.uk.
Completing your application
GTTR allows two choices for the Primary PGCE. These are transmitted to your chosen institutions in strict rotation.
Please enter the details of institutions and courses clearly and correctly on your form, paying particular attention to GTTR codes. The GTTR code for Kingston University is King K84 and the course codes are:
- X100 1 year full-time General Primary (X100) – COURSE CLOSED
- X121 1 year full-time Early Years (0–7 years)
- XR11 1 year full-time Primary specialising in French (5–11 years) – COURSE CLOSED
- XR21 1 year full-time Primary specialising in German (5–11 years) – COURSE CLOSED
- XR41 1 year full-time Primary specialising in Spanish (5–11 years) – COURSE CLOSED

Interviews
Interviews are an important part of the selection process for teacher training courses. The University will make a decision following your interview and will then inform you through the GTTR.
