OSIS login

When you receive an offer of a place from Kingston, we will send you an email with a username and password to log in to our Online Student Information System (OSIS). Find out more here about when and why to log into OSIS.

Stage 1 of enrolment

We will email you with information about updating your details online as the first stage of the enrolment process (online enrolment). When you receive this email, please log in and update your details.

Upload a copy of your passport

If you haven't already done so, don't forget to upload a copy of your passport to OSIS as well.

This is to prevent fraud and so we can check which fees you should be paying – the rate for Home (UK/EU) students or the rate for Overseas students. We will email you direct to confirm the outcome of the fee assessment and/or if we need any further information from you.

If you are an international student and need a CAS number, you will need to log into OSIS again to request one once your fee status has been confirmed.

If you have already emailed us a copy of your passport, we will have added it to OSIS for you so there is no need to upload another copy.

What do I need to do?

Log in to OSIS using the link below and (if you haven't already done so) you'll be prompted to change your temporary password (the one that we sent you) to a permanent one (that you'll find easier to remember).

What if I have a problem?

First please check our FAQs below. If you still have a problem, you can contact us for more help. Please quote your Kingston University ID number whenever you get in touch with us. (This will be on the email we sent with your username and password.)

  • What parts of my passport should I send you?
    Please scan the page showing your photograph, nationality, date of birth and full name. You must also include any current visa showing your right to stay in the UK (if applicable).
  • What should I do if I don't have a scanner?
    If you don't have access to a scanner, you can take a digital photo of your passport and upload that. If you don't have access to either, send a colour photocopy of the page showing your photograph, nationality, date of birth and full name, plus any current visa showing your right to stay in the UK (if applicable) to:

      Please do not send us your original passport or birth certificate.
  • What format should the images to be in?
    Please send the images as jpegs. The maximum size for an image uploaded is 3MB.
  • I have not received a username or password. What should I do?
    Please check your junk mail box and then contact our Applicant Services team at apposis@kingston.ac.uk.
  • What happens if I forget my username and password?
    If you have a problem logging in or with your password, please visit the service desk portal or tel +44 (0)20 8417 3355 between 8.00am – 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
  • I will be studying at a partner college. Do I need to log into OSIS?
    Yes, you'll still need to log into OSIS but your partner college will also require you to register with them separately.

    You may need to upload a scanned copy of your passport into OSIS so we can check which fees you should be paying – the rate for Home (UK/EU) students or the rate for Overseas students – and because if you are an international student and Kingston University is your sponsor for a Tier 4 visa, we will need to hold a scanned copy of your passport.

    Depending on your course, the partner college may provide your CAS number (if you're an international student).
  • What if I don't have a passport?
    If you don't have a passport, please email a copy of your birth certificate to apposis@kingston.ac.uk instead, quoting your Kingston University ID number. (This will be on the email we sent you with your username and password.)
  • I have logged on to OSIS but there is nowhere to upload my passport.
    Have you already emailed us a copy of your passport?  If so, we will have added it to OSIS for you so you do not need to upload another copy.

    If you have not already sent us a copy of your passport, please double check the OSIS site and then contact us for more help.
  • Who can I contact if I have a problem?
    If you have not received a username/password, please contact our Applicant Services team at apposis@kingston.ac.uk.
